A WILLIAM IV SILVER FOUR EGG-CUP CRUET FRAME. shaped square outline, with a central loop handle and with a gadroon & shell border, crested & inscribed on the base "The Gift of his Mother to her dear son John Hodgson 10 Feb 1834", fitted with four egg cups, with applied borders & gilt interiors, crested, all by Messrs Barnard, London 1831, together with four non-matching egg spoons, Fiddle, Thread & Shell pattern, crested, by William Theobalds & Robert Metcalfe Atkinson, London 1839; the frame 8.25" (21cm) high; 25.6ozt (9).
