A VICTORIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL VESTA CASE
maker B & S, Birmingham 1895, retailed by Rowell, Oxford, the front enamelled with the coat of arms of Exeter College Boat Club (Oxford University), engraved E.C.A.C. 1896, the reverse engraved with a crest. 6.5cm long overall, 1.1 troy ounces
The marks are clear. The cover snaps shut well. There are two small losses of enamel to two of the scroll corners of the arms. There is age-related surface wear.
