A Meissen forget-me-not dressing table jar and cover, 19th century, florally encrusted with forget me nots, polychrome enameled insects to cover, the handle modelled as a stem, gilt scrolled motif to interior and cover, underglaze blue crossed swords to base, 8cm high (at fault)

There are minor losses to the petals and leaves throughout (please see photo). Rubbing to the gilt highlights and banding. No other chips, cracks, crazing or obvious signs of damage nor restoration.
