Railway. Paper Railwayana. ISLE OF WIGHT interest. Whilst on a holiday Barry Owen rescued the following drawing/plans from a skip outside a closed railway station on the Isle of Wight probably early 1960’s, it was being converted into a house at the time. RARE original plans of station buildings and a trackplan of station yards for the "Newport, Godshill & St Lawrence Railway".
1. "Newport, Godshill & St Lawrence Railway" station yard plans for Whitwell, Godshill and St Lawrence. Thick Paper ink and watercolour drawing with some foxing.
2. "Newport, Godshill & St Lawrence Railway" Extension to Ventnor and Ventnor Station buildings. Tracing paper, tears to edges and paper loss at one end.
3. "Newport, Godshill & St Lawrence Railway" plans of station buildings at Godshill.
4. "Newport, Godshill & St Lawrence Railway" plans of the Station buildings at St lawrence. Thin waxy paper, drawings on both sides, one side in colour. Nicks to edges.
