of square baluster form, the sides painted with three scholars in fenced gardens, flanked by two further panels decorated with a poem and inscription. The flared necks each applied with four elephant masks, on a faux robins-egg ground.
Inscription on one side reads 'In the year of 1782 of Qianlong reign, Du men workshop'
32.5cm high
One has a break and is glued and repaired around the foot. Several of the elephant tusks are chipped/missing the tips. One has a small rim chip.
