An early 20th century Wandsworth Police mounted horse baton or truncheon in its leather sheath. The cord covered baton having an overall length 97.5cms (38.375ins) with a leather wrist band and leather knuckle guard. The knuckle guard is impressed WP 4 which is believed to stand for Wandsworth Police 4th Division
