Initially, the Silver Shadow long-wheelbase model did not have a separate name, but in 1976, with the introduction of the Silver Shadow II, the longer car was dubbed the Silver Wraith II.
The Wraith II is identified by all alterations found on the Silver Shadow II and additionally an Everflex-covered roof (also available as an option on the Silver Shadow II), a smaller rear opera-style window (some customers deleted the smaller back window) and different wheel covers. Some Silver Wraith IIs were also fitted with electric divisions which took up the extra four inches of leg room in the rear.
The Rolls Royce Silver Wraith offered here is described by the vendor to be in very good all round condition, having been subject to an older restoration and a colour change from peacock blue to white. The car has been maintained by a Rolls Royce specialist and comes with lots of previous bills. There is also some Service History, original Handbook and Sales Brochure. An insurance valuation certificate showing a valuation of £18,000 also comes with the car. There has been a substantial amount of money spent on this car, and the vendor says that you will not find a better example.
