A late 19c American novelty clock by Ansonia in the form of a small drum clock within a ships wheel and anchor, suspended within a tripod of oars standing on a rope base. This is all fashioned in cast metal with an antique bronze finish. The 5.5cm diam. clock has a white enamel dial with embossed metal centre and has Arabic numerals. The thirty hour movement has an open spring and lever escapement, clock stand 35cm overall.

Movement complete and runs. Dial and glass undamaged. Case complete and undamaged but slightly tarnished.
