English School, 20th century, U Class 2-6-0 Steam Locomotive Southern 1618. oil on canvas, unsigned, framed. 11½ x 15½in. (29.2 x 39.4cm.). * Built in 1928 and working in the South-East of England, it was sent for scrap in 1964 but survived after being purchased by a heritage group. It is now on static display on the Bluebell Line in Sussex.. Good condition
