A Flambe Bottle Vase, Qing dynasty the pear-shaped body rising from a straight foot to a slightly tapered tubular neck, covered on the exterior with a brilliant crushed-strawberry glaze draining to white from the rim and suffused throughout with a network of fine crackles, the glaze transmuting to a purple-tinged glaze around the body, the base left unglazed with a few characters in ink H:49.5cm old repairs upper neck, a area of glaze contraction on the body
