Travel Poster Pilgrimage Sazava Monastery Czechoslovakia. Original vintage travel poster advertising the National Pilgrimage to the Sazava Monastery on 3-5 July 1949 / Sazava 1053 1953 Narodni Pout 3-5 Cervence 1949 featuring a great pencil sketch illustration of the historic Sazava Monastery with the bold blue and red lettering below. Established in 1032 by Betislaus I Duke of Bohemia the Sazava Monastery is a former Benedictine Abbey in Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic) and the site of the Saint Procopius of Sazava hermit who died in 1053; the monastery is now a National Cultural Heritage Site.
