Holster and stock for the long barrelled WWI Artillery Lugar. The German artillerymen in WWI were issued with this weapon for self-defence instead of a rifle. The stock, when attached to the pistol, afforded the soldier greater accuracy and greater range. Leather harness dated 1917, and maker marked ‘H Meyer’.
