London. 1830-51 Lettersheets, the first with "Returned Letter" heading and "Returned Letter-Office" in the lower corner, six others sent in 1849-51 with "Returned Paid Letter" heading and "Dead Letter Office" in the lower corner, the 1830 lettersheet with Francis Freeling shown as Secretary, the others with W.L Maberley, these six with printed "Caution to the Public, as to sending Property by Post", one the scarce variety recommending "use of the Money Order Office, where they will incur no hazard". Two with undelivered letters enclosed, one to a passenger on a ship at Southampton endorsed "Sailed". Types 6c, 10f/g. (7+).
