Shipwreck interest, Fantee, Sevenstones Reef, Scillies. A natural shaped and turned African hardwood bowl or centrepiece, raised on three turned feet, height 21cm, maximum width 62cm. Made from shipwreck timber reclaimed by the Scilly boatmen from the cargo of Fantee, which was wrecked in 1949, with her cargo of African produce and timber.
