A 19TH CENTURY CABINET MAKER'S TOOL CHEST. possibly a master shipwright’s chest, the hinged lid revealing hardwood and parquetry specimens including rosewood, ebony, walnut, mahogany, satin birch (?), fitted with two banks of sixteen drawers and well compartment, gilt lettered plaque to lid inscribed F H Wren, the painted body with rope handles, height 65cm, width 97cm width, depth 61cm. *CR Wear commensurate with age and use, marks, minor losses, possible alterations.
