A 19th century embroidered map of Europe, very detailed, country edges defined in colour, showing the UK and Ireland, with the “Northern Ocean, the Atlantic ocean, the British Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the latter with many small islands with names not often worked, Iceland to the north and Africa to the south, and “Part of Asia” to the east, many capital cities in capital letters and quirks like “Little Poland” ( a historical region of southern Poland), worked by E.J.
