An extremely rare pair of novelty Victorian pepper pots / pepperettes fashioned as upturned mushrooms, E. H. Stockwell, London, 1881, realistically modelled, with very good detail to the gills, unscrewing for access, stalks pierced, hallmarked on the bottom and partially again on the top of stalk, 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high by 2¼in. (5.5cm.) diameter, weight 3.5 tr.oz. (2) * Condition: Very light flea bite dings, slightly rubbed hallmarks on one mushroom but legible, very good condition.
