A pair of Royal Worcester vase and covers,
dated 1871, each decorated with farm girls on gilded cobalt blue ground, signed J.Rushton for Josiah Rushston. Each with berried finial, the domed cover with radiating beaded panels, the oviform body flanked by berried laurel handles, finely painted with familial subjects in rural landscapes, the reverse gilt with ribbon-tied wreaths, on beaded knop, conforming socle and canted square base. Both covers have been badly broken and re-stuck and vase with girl with pigeon has had one handle re-stuck. 39.2cm high (2)
