A fine Victorian emerald and diamond hinged bangle, unmarked gold and silver-topped openwork settings with three emerald-cut emeralds within rose-cut diamond foliate surround, engraved acanthus leaf shoulders and closed-backing, principal emerald approx 10-15ct, setting height 29.2mm, internal circumference approx 17cm, 36.3g
No damage or repair, all stones present, emeralds have typical internal inclusions and a few surface-reaching fractures, no chips or damage to emeralds and facet edges are sharp, diamonds are bright and white, settings are only lightly worn, clasp and hinge working perfectly, unmarked but tests as 18ct gold and silver.
