An early Derby flared frill potpourri vase and cover, modelled with a pair of masks and profusely ornamented with flowers and exotic plumes, picked out in polychrome enamels, the reserves well-painted with butterflies and insects, diaper-pierced neck with flowerhead bosses at angles, domed cover with bird finial and further foliage, 24cm high, c.1760 Provenance: the Wilders Collection, labelled.
