STAMPS CHINA, 1936 pair of covers addressed to Bridgewater, Somerset sent from the wife of Edward Roth to her sister. Edward worked for the Chinese Postal Authorities from 1913-1949, eventually becoming Postal Commissioner. The first cover is sent Registered from Nanking, the second is datestamped Peiping.
