A BR Standard class tenderplate, BR3 1005, 1954, from a 3000 gallon tender coupled new with Standard Class 2 2-6-0 No 78031 built at Darlington and allocated new to Tebay in September 1954. Its later sheds were Lancaster Green Ayre, Chester Northgate, Rhyl and Crewe South from where it was withdrawn in October 1966 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport. Cast iron, 8"x5¾", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
