Royal Navy/Fleet Air Arm Medal Group of eight comprising: 39-45 Star, Atlantis Star, Africa Star, Defence Medal, 39-49 War Medal, MGS Medal with clap for Malaya, Queen's Korea Medal and UN Korea Medal, awarded to Chief Petty Officer Thomas M L Leigh, originally serving with the Royal Naval Air Service and Brawdy Pembrokeshire and from Tir Y Dial. No FX97069 . Together with a photo album commissioning deployment of HMS Warrior 1953-54 and two Royal and Ancient Order of Buffaloes Jewels, with Royal Naval Observer's (navigator) wings awarded to CPO Leigh - a casualty group in that he was killed with two other members of his crew at Brawdy (NAS HMS Goldcrest) on 20th February 1958 when a rotor blade on his Dragonfly helicopter failed 700ft over the runway. The photograph album featuring photographs of the aircraft carrier Warrior, other vessels, aircraft, topographical scenes in the Far East with figures etc. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
