.577, four groove rifled, 23 1/2 inch double barrels. Front blade foresight. Top rib with three flip up V sights and long flip up ladder sight. Front side of barrel with bayonet lug, stamped "S & S. B327". Steel back action lock plates marked "Swinburn & Son 1860". Military pattern percussion hammers. Polished half stock woodwork. Circular, steel patchbox marked "Jacob Rifles". Steel butt plate, double scroll trigger guard and single barrel band. Steel ramrod pipe retaining its steel ramrod. Leather rifle sling.
