Two Miser's purses, 19th century, the first embroidered on pale green silk, in gold threads, with gold metal sliders in Greek key design, one end with gold metal tassel, lined in cream silk; the second example, with tiny gold beads worked on cream panels alternating with a pale sea green, is finished with gold metal bobbles to each corner (2)

Condition: Sime of the gold thread is tarnished to silver, the silk lining is distressed.
