Anglo-Eastern camphorwood campaign chest, 19th Century, two sections, each fitted with two long drawers with oval plate handles and brass reinforced corners, iron carrying handles to each side, all raised on bracket feet, width 72cm, height 84cm

More Information

Knocks and scrapes throughout consistent with age and use. The handles and escutcheons appear to be original. One of the raised wooden studs in the lower half is sheared leaving only one remaining. The carrying handles are all original. One of the brass reinforcements on the back is badly dented (see image). All locks are present but no key.
There are repairs to the bracket feet and a small loss to the front left foot.
Overall a good original example that would benefit from some slight restorations.
