A collection more than 90 postcards, including Portsmouth and 32 by German artist Manuel Wielandt (1863-1922), taken from his paintings, often of Italian tourist resorts (see 2nd photo) with checklist. The album of 26 Portsmouth cards includes submarine interest, and printed colour views of the old rail crossing at Copnor, a blacksmith at Milton, Milton locks and Queen Street. There are 6 vintage cards by English artist Cecil Ashdown (1865-1948) of Canadian scenes published by Raphael Tuck; 10 Edwardian scenes of Whitby and one of Folkestone; six art cards by English painter Herbert Truman (1883-1957); and also 8 modern cards of old Welsh views and 5 reprints of old Parisian scenes.
