Great Britain: Blackpool Pier Company, pair of certificates for Consolidated stock, 18[79], #307 and Cumulative Preference shares, 19[03], #44, both black printing, cut cancelled. Registered 1861 as a Limited company. Reincorporated in 1878 by Special Act of Parliament. Built the North Pier in Blackpool, the first of the 3 piers built along the Promenade. Became a subsidiary of Forte (Holdings) Limited in 1963. Top edge on the second piece slightly trimmed otherwise VF and scarce (2)
