Fine French mahogany portico mantel clock, the 4.5" silvered dial signed Berthet & Bazelaire á Paris to the centre with unusual half-glazed seconds dial showing a visible deadbeat escapement with adjuster, within a foliate ormolu cast bezel, the movement back plate also signed and with outside countwheel striking on a bell, within a tapering pillared stepped case with applied ormolu mounts, 19.75" high (pendulum and key)
