A Victorian oak cased family medicine chest, fitted with an assortment of glass jars and stoppers, lift-out section, scales, porcelain slab and also a copy of Cox's Companion...., dated 1863, width 32cm. Michael had an unerring eye for quality. He was a frequent visitor to these auction rooms, an elegantly dressed, unassuming man who bought well and had a singular passion for old-school antiques.
