English mahogany double fusee verge bracket clock, the 7" brass arched dial signed Stephen Hardie, London on a silvered engraved disc to the arch, over a silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted centre with false bob pendulum and calendar apertures, within a stepped case surmounted by a caddy top, four turned urn brass finials and a carrying handle 19.5" high (pendulum and key)

**This clock was featured in the September 2019 Clocks magazine in an interesting article written by Brian Loomes, attempting to establish more about the maker and date of the clock

General condition appears reasonable with some marks on the chapter ring and matted centre clearly visible in the images, the movement appears to have an original verge escapement, expected wear and tear for age but no serious damage or over-restoration evident. See images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
