British WWI/II Norfolk related Group to 88166 DVR/GNR S.M. Kimber R.F.A. including: 1914/1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal and Defence Medal, the lot has a great deal of paperwork, he came from Burnham Norton and was attached to "D" Battery 67th Bedfordshire Royal Field Artillery and had been posted out to Salonika 1/12/16. It has his Soldiers Pay Book, two Soldiers Small books and Prayer books, a British Leave in Salonika Leave Form, an selection of postcards with ones showing encampments and GNR Kimber, there are also many letter written in Arabic. There is also a Souvenir of Jerusalem New Testament in which there is written "March 1918, S.M. Kimber 'A' Battery. R.F.A. 67th Brigade, 10th Irish Division, Gunner 4 point Howitzer Guns", the book has a selection of dried flowers from the various biblical regions as well as card inserts named "Fleurs de Bethane" with dried flowers and newspaper clippings. He later served with the RFA having his WWII era Dog tags and cap badge.
