Surrey R.) extremely fine, mounted on card with 4 London County Council King's Medals all named to T. Burgess, 4 sports medals and 1945 Certificate of Transfer to Reserve as W.O.2 in glass fronted display case.
With range of original documents including Certificate of Service, Pay Book, Release book, WW2 medal transmission slip, WW2 box of issue addressed to him in Kingston-upon-Thames etc, Thomas Gerrard Burgess enlisted in East Surreys 8/7/19, served Ireland 192-22, Egypt, Hong Kong, India and UK only in WW2, discharged from Reserve 24/11/52 with over 33 years service.
