A PAIR OF GEORGE III MAHOGANY KNIFE BOXES. of serpentine form, crossbanded with satinwood, the interiors converted to hold decanters, one for square bottles, the other for cylindrical, with silver plated escutcheons, height 40cm, width 24cm, depth 33cm. *CR Deep scratches and light cracking to veneer on lids (polished over), both lids slightly out of alignment and with a 'smile', minor losses and splits to interiors.
