The painting is in fully restored condition and has been relined, cleaned, restored and varnished in the last fifty-seventy years, there is extensive retouching in the sky and throughout the landscape and the work has been overcleaned in places, making the original paint quite thin it has however got discoloured varnish and dirt to the surface and is contained within a replacement 1960s or 70s plain outer gilt plaster and wooden frame.
