A late 18th / early 19th century Joseph Manton single barrel percussion cap sporting rifle with walnut stock and engraved lock plate, 120cms long.
The breech barrel is inscribed 'London' and has proof mark. It s a smooth bore barrel, the end of the percussion cock cap is missing and there is no ram rod. There is minor pitting to the barrel and it has lost some of the blueing.
