A BR(M) totem sign, HORTON-IN-RIBBLESDALE, (painted steel, flangeless), from the southern end of the Settle to Carlisle route. The station did not have conventional totems and was famous for being decorated with a variety of signage produced by the station staff, this being one such example. The totem is 45" in length and in original condition, as removed from the station on closure in 1970. (Postage Band: D)
