A French carved oak open armchair in the Louis XIV style, probably early 20th century, the waisted back with joined scroll splats and rocaille, foliate and shell carved decoration, over conforming carved swept arms and stuff over seat in cream linen, raised on carved cabriole legs with scroll toes, 40¾in. (103.5cm.) high, 24in. (61cm.) wide.
