A late Victorian 18ct gold cased open faced pocket watch, keyless wind, by Sir John Bennett Ltd, London, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, minute track, subsidiary seconds, and gold coloured hands, Movement marked 'Sir John Bennett Ltd , 65 Cheapside, London' 162659, 18ct gold hallmarks to outer and inner back cover, Chester 1893, Makers Mark 'JH' poss. inscription to inner cover 'Makers to the Royal Observatory' and monogrammed initials to back Hunter cover, three quarter plate movement dial 41mm, Notes: in good working condition, winds and hands set well, keeps time across 1hr test. In good, well serviced condition. Light scratches overall, glass in very good condition, some wear to the dial signature, very clean overall.
