A VERY FINE & RARE GEORGE III IRISH – CORK – SILVER SAUCE BOAT, the large sauce boat has a beautiful crimped and beaded rim with a scroll shaped handle to one end, raised on three proud shell kneed feet resting on a pad foot. Engraved to one side with a crest detail of a lion headed fish holding a shell in its paws. STERLING mark to the under-side along with maker’s initials of I.S possibly John Sheehan. Dimensions: 18 x 8 x 10.5cm (W x D x H) Total weight: 262.
