unmarked, Moscow, c.1770, of compressed baluster form, each side with a niello cartouche of musical figures, with strapwork sides and flowerheads, the top with a pull-off lid secured by a suspension chain, the underside engraved У. В. Ф over A. C. П, within a rocaille C-scroll cartouche. 7.3cm high, 1.3 troy ounces
There is age-related surface wear but generally in good condition.
