Great Britain: Ashton-under-Lyne and Dukinfield Bridge Co., certificate of shares, 185[77], #261-310, black, red wax seal. Registered in 1853 to build the Alma bridge over the River Tame connecting Ashton with the coalfields of Dukinfield. The company was finally wound up in 1902 when the Corporation acquired the bridge to lay electric tramways. Split on folds, AVF but so far the only known example.
