A Good Archaistic Bronze Vase, hu, Song dynasty, inspired by a Shang or Early Western Zhou original, the body rising from a tall almost cylindrical foot, the belly swelling out before tapering slightly to the neck just below the trumpet rim, the neck finely cast with double horned beast head handles, interrupting a band of leiwen moulded in low relief on each side with an elegant pair of confronted archaic dragons, the body with overall dark green and russet patina imitating an archaic bronze, and the interior neck with a three character pictograph, H:26.8cm.,
