A 19th century walnut chest on chest, feather-banded drawer fronts with brushing slide, brass drop handles and escutcheons, on bracket feet, pediment width 100cm, height 170cm
Upper section has a split running through the right-hand panel from top to bottom, left-hand panel has a similar faint split with some small sections of edge feather banding beginning to lift and ripple, 1 small section of veneer missing between upper drawers and a few other smaller sections have been repaired and replaced, handles appear to have been replaced several times, generally good sturdy condition with a rich colour
