W. HOOPER (1916 - 1996) A SECOND WORLD WAR CARTOON.
A pen and ink cartoon of an R.A.F. Sergeant, perhaps on discharge, moving from crutches to full health in four steps, signed lower right, framed and glazed, overall 45 x 47cm. William Hooper, served with the RAF and is best remembered for the character PO Percy Prune, later working for the Sunday Chronicle and The Star as a cartoonist.
