A pair of Royal Dux Pierrot bookends, one modelled leaning, the other with his feet in the air, each wearing typical costume in blue, white and gilt, each with pink triangular and incised marks to bases, the tallest 23cm high (2)
No chips, fractures, cracks or losses. No signs of restoration or repair. Both pieces show moderate wear to the gilt on highpoints, such as the ruffs, sleeves and hems. There appears to be a slight build-up of glaze around the necks. Both pieces would benefit from cleaning.
