The centre primarily decorated in grisaille with details picked out in flesh tones with a couple reclining under a canopied terrace beside a chair, their arms around each other's shoulders, the bearded man wearing a hat, a riverscape in the distance, a band of iron-red and gilt shell-scroll at the border
