French Gras Bayonet with single edged blade 520mm in length. Maker marked and dated to spine of blade "St. Etienne 1879". Overall length 645mm. Complete with scabbard which has matching numbers, 28942.
Good overall condition. Release catch very stiff and needs freeing up.
