1899 Piece from the De La Rue striking book bearing cut down proofs in black of the 1899 high value Master Proof, 1r.50 and 2r.25 duty plate proofs, endorsed alongside with details of leads taken and the date "June 15" (Master Proof) or "June 29", further endorsed in red "Plate bad destroyed" and "Sep. 5th 99". Some surface faults, mainly to the Master Proof, a unique archival piece. Photo on Page 38.
