William IV Court Dress Sword by Firmin
30 3/4 inch, double edged, narrow blade. Etched, crowned WRIV cypher with laurel wreath. Forte with etched "Firmin & Sons 153 Strand London". Gilt shell guard with edge stud decoration and crowned WRIV cypher central overlay. Gilt crossguard and D guard with rope decoration. Gilt crown pommel. Wire grip. Contained in its black patent scabbard with gilt mounts. Complete with red and gilt wire sword knot. Good clean example.
